The Viking organization places considerable emphasis on its ability to provide financial support to requests that fall within the Viking’s Mission Statement; that is, helping those with medically-related needs. The Vikings primarily fund their month-to-month economic operations with dollars raised from within the Viking membership, however, there are exceptional requests arising from time-to-time that will exceed the Viking’s day-to-day operating resources. In those cases, the Vikings will orchestrate a very focused fundraiser within the community to help meet that exceptional need.

Over the long history of Viking Charities, the community has grown to learn that the Vikings do not present a major fundraiser unless it is the only way to achieve the level of financial support being pursued. And in those cases, the support for such events has always been passionate, and, Viking major fundraisers have traditionally generated an overflowing of community support.
