Check Given to SYV Recovery Residence at the Viking Christmas Party
At the recent Viking Christmas Party, an annual event held this year at the Alisal Ranch Sycamore Room, Viking Chief Hans Larsen presented a check to Don Sorensen and Carol Anders, Co-chairs of the Santa Ynez Valley Recovery Residence remodel project. The check, in the amount of $76,000, was money raised at the Viking sponsored dinner and auction held last September.
“We are happy to support the Recovery Residence,” said Larsen, “and this completes one of several activities the Vikings have been working on this year.” As an example of ongoing efforts by Vikings Larsen mentioned the continuing matching fund drive for Clayton FitzGerald.
